RST originally defines relations for the use in a monologue. For the use in the Discourse-based Communication Model the relations have to be redefined for dialogs. RST distinguishes between two types of RST Relations. The first type is called multinuclear relations and relates 2 to n branches. The second type is called nucleus-satellite relations and relates exactly one Nucleus and one Satellite. First the multinuclear relations are<br \/>\nexplained and afterwards the nucleus-satellite relations.
